June 9, 2026 (6:00 - 7:30 PM)
Join FoRR for the fourth talk in our Reedy River speaker series, By the Banks. Grab a brew and hear from scientists, storytellers, and the river experts about everything from local ecology to urban runoff.
On June 9, environmental planner Hannah Slyce and City of Greenville Head Engineer Paul Dow will explore the principles of ecological planning before taking a closer look at the green infrastructure practices found throughout Greenville's parks, neighborhoods, and downtown. With a focus on stormwater management and working with nature, this engaging discussion will include plenty of opportunities for audience Q&A. Together, they will highlight how prioritizing ecology and healthy water systems supports the long-term health and resilience of the Reedy River watershed community.
Event Notes: Please arrive around 6 PM to socialize, grab a beverage, and order snacks or dinner to enjoy while our presenters share their stories! Talks will begin at 6:30 PM. We can't wait to see you soon!
